Behind the cane

This photo was taken at Lake Vasona park in Los Gatos. The view of the lake is a standard one: cane in the foreground, the lake and the far side in the background. To get a more interesting photo I experimented with moving the camera vertically during the taking of the photo. Because it was a sunny day I had to choose a low ISO setting (100) and an aperture of F22 in order to get a sufficiently long shutter time in order to have enough time to move the camera. I tried out different movement speeds and this photo is the best of the batch I think. The result is a more abstract view of the lake shore and a more interesting view too.
