Joshua Trees

Here is another photo of our recent trip to Joshua Tree National Park. I love how the ‘trees’ all have different shapes, some are compact, some have many arms, some are straight like a pole and everything in between.

The Joshua Trees grow only in the Mojave Desert part of the park and at places there are complete ‘forests’ of them. Although our visit was during the flowering season of the Joshua Tree it did not look like they had flowered already or had any intention of doing so in the next few weeks. But apparently they do not set flowers every year.
